A new philosophy for the 21st century workplace

Forbes contributor Chris Myers takes a look at "Weology" - a term coined by Tangerine Bank CEO Peter Aceto which centres around the idea that teams thrive when everyone from the CEO to the most junior employee puts "we before me." Myers says that Weology is a simple philosophy that "all comes down to top-to-bottom commitment to authenticity, transparency, and respect."

Geoff Booth offers this thought. This is not a new idea frankly, Patrick Lencioni has put forward this view in his book 5 Dysfunctions of a Team first published 14 years ago. He talks about Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Results. Commitment being to the team objective above your own or your locals teams objective.
